Origin: It is found mainly in Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.
Propagation: Place the seeds overnight in tepid water to swell, and then plant them in moist soil to a depth of about 1 cm. At a temperature of 20 ° -25 ° C seeds germinate within 2 to 4 weeks.
Location / Light: For plentiful colors, sunny places and a lot of heat are perfect. From April to November it is good to put the plant in an open space facing south.
Care: Plant in homogenous soil and during leafing through April water thoroughly, otherwise the leaves will turn yellow. However, drenching the soil must be avoided. From June to September, the plant should be fertilized every 14 days. The flowers appear between July and September.
Hibernation: During the fall of the leaves, coral bush can be trimmed to the desired size. The temperature should not exceed 10 ° C because the leaves will push through too early and are still too delicate and susceptible.
