Soil is the natural substrate for the vast majority of plants on our planet. The plant takes dissolved nutrients from it with the help of its roots and incorporates them into its processes to its best advantage.
Growing in soil is generally easier than hydroponic growing. Fertilizer consumption is lower, the soil substrate retains water well and allows plants to retain moisture for longer. Therefore, when growing in clay, you can water once every few days, while in hydroponics we water several times a day. When cultivating plants in soil mixes, it is recommended to always let it dry out after watering so that oxygen can reach the roots.
