PLANT BURNS AND TREATMENT
Plants need light to grow, everyone knows that, but understanding how much light your plants need is key, and sometimes less is more.
Like any light source, your lamps radiate a lot of heat in your growing room. Many people are able to control the temperature of their growing room, but one common mistake is to let your plants get too close to light sources, as this can burn and damage the leaves of the plants. They will look slightly yellow, but most likely the outer part of the leaves will remain green.
The easiest solution is to move your light higher so that it is far enough away from the leaves so as not to hurt or stress them. This will not only protect them, but also have more space and height for growth.
It is also a good idea to make sure that your environment is normal (temperature, humidity, etc.), as then you can rule out any other color changes that occur in your plants. The easiest way is with a thermo-hygrometer.
As we mentioned in previous blogs, it is always good when your plants have gone through any stress to lift them. One product you could use to boost their health is CannaCure.
CannaCure is a very simple way to keep your plants healthy as it stimulates leaf growth in your plants. Although it may not turn the yellow burnt parts of the plant green, this will help preserve the rest of the leaves. Add a little silicon for the overall health of the plants and they will heal again in no time! In our store you can find two products that will work for you: Advanced Silica from Advanced Hydroponics of Holland or Silic Boost from Atami.
